Ask your innkeeper about special arrangements for your getaway -- how about flowers or champagne and strawberries in your room?

Enjoy dinner at Abigail's. This fine dining establishment located in the historic business district begins serving dinner at 5 pm. Advance reservations are highly recommended, but your innkeeper will be glad to call for availability and reservations at check-in. The food is upscale and creative, and there is an excellent wine list.

After dinner, if weather permits, head to Les Bourgeois' outdoor wine garden ("the A-Frame") to watch the gorgeous sunset and sip some wine. Then spend a restful night in your beautiful room. For breakfast, the two of you will be in for a treat at any one of our luxury B&Bs.

If you are visiting from spring to fall, after breakfast pack a picnic lunch and take a walk along the beautiful Katy Trail. Or consider renting a tandem bike at the Trailside Café and Bike Shop and enjoy a leisurely ride down the Trail. Snacks and beverages are also sold at the Café.

Spend an afternoon strolling around the town and check out our many quality antique shops, galleries and other unique area merchants. Visit the Rocheport General Store for a casual lunch or ice cream cone.

Your second evening, enjoy a fabulous dinner experience at the Les Bourgeois Bistro. The food is prepared by their award-winning chef, the wine is excellent, and the view is breathtaking. Friday and Saturday evenings the Rocheport General Store offers live entertainment by area musicians, so stop by for a great time and great refreshments.

After another delicious breakfast, check out the shops you missed, visit the winery gift shop, take a stroll through town or relax on a bench and enjoy each other's company before you head home!
