Rocheport is gateway to the scenic Katy Trail State Park, the longest rail-to-trails project in America. Hiking or biking, the Trail offers a unique experience as the it winds between the Missouri River and the towering bluffs above. Enjoy the nearby river walk and conservation areas. Rocheport is beautiful in all four seasons -- the perfect place for an outdoor adventure.

For family-friendly accommodations, check out the School House Dormitory, a brand new facility offering two guest rooms ideal for families with small children or a "girlfriends" getaway, the unhosted Katy Trail Bed & Bikefest conveniently located right on the Katy Trail, or the charming Terrapin Creek Ranch bungalow located just a few miles east of Rocheport.

Trailside Café and Bike Shop is located right at the trailhead. If you don't have a bike while in Rocheport, don't worry, you can rent one at the Trailside and hop on the trail for a gorgeous morning ride. The Café also serves casual meals and snacks. Rocheport Ferry Shuttle Service provides economical shuttle service for hikers and bikers on the Katy Trail.

Local author and historian Brett Dufur offers a guided trip on the river through Mighty MO Canoe Rentals. This is the best way to appreciate the beautiful Missouri River. No matter what time of year the views are breathtaking and the information you will take with you is priceless.

In the evening, enjoy a fabulous dinner at the Winery Bistro or Abigail's -- before returning to your bed and breakfast for a wonderful night's rest.
